The European Union approves the protease produced by Bacillus licheniformis DSM 33099 as a feed additive for fattening poultry and other species

According to the official gazette of the European Union, on March 6, 2024, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) No 2024/778, in accordance with the European Parliament and the Council

Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 approving protease produced by Bacillus licheniformis DSM 33099 for fattening poultry and raising for egg production/reproduction

Feed additives for breeding poultry

According to the conditions specified in the attachment, the category of this additive authorized as an animal additive is "technical additive", and the functional group is "digestive additive"

"Strong agent". The authorization end date is March 26, 2034. This regulation will come into effect on the 20th day from the date of publication. Once listed, it will be strictly inspected and quarantined in accordance with local laws and regulations. If there is any violation, it will be severely punished according to the relevant policies of the importing country
