The European Union approves the production of concentrated liquid L-lysine, L-lysine hydrochloride, and concentrated liquid L-lysine hydrochloride produced by Escherichia coli NITE BP-02917 as Feed additives for all animals

According to the official gazette of the European Union, on March 6, 2024, in accordance with the regulations of the European Parliament and the Council, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) No 2024/777

Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 approving the production of concentrated liquid L-lysine, L-lysine hydrochloride, and concentrated L-lysine by Escherichia coli NITE BP-02917

Liquid L-lysine hydrochloride is used as a Feed Additive for all animals.

According to the conditions specified in the attachment, this additive is authorized as an animal additive and belongs to the category of "nutritional additives". Its functional groups are "amino acids", amino acid salts, and their analogues. The authorization end date is March 26, 2034. These regulations shall come into effect 20 days from the date of publication and shall be strictly inspected and quarantined in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. If any violation of local laws and regulations is found, strict punishment shall be imposed
