According to the official gazette of the European Union, on March 25, 2024, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) No. 2024/893 approving the heat treatment of garlic juice
(Thermally treated garlic juice) is used as an active substance in sterilization products of product type 19.
This regulation shall come into effect on the 20th day from the date of its publication in the official gazette of the European Union.

After the implementation of this regulation, imported products will be strictly inspected in accordance with relevant inspection and quarantine procedures and policies. Therefore, in order to avoid export discoveries, relevant enterprises are required to strictly follow the laws and regulations of the importing country for production, processing, packaging, and distribution. Samples will be confirmed with importers in strict accordance with local requirements, and production will be carried out strictly according to the confirmed samples to avoid the risk of goods being returned
