EU approves thyme and star anise essential oil and soap tree bark powder as feed additives for all poultry fattening

According to the official gazette of the European Union, on March 7, 2024, the European Commission issued Regulation (EU) No 2024/786, in accordance with the European Parliament and the Council

Regulation (EC) No 1831/2003 approved thyme and star anise essential oil and soap tree bark powder as feed additives for all poultry fattening.

According to the conditions specified in the attachment, the category of this additive authorized as an animal additive is "technical additive", and the functional group is "other animal additives"

Material technology additives. The authorization end date is March 27, 2034. This regulation shall come into effect on the 20th day from the date of its promulgation
